All classes will now be conducted online through Zoom. You will require a phone, tablet, or laptop and a stable internet connection.
Phone or tablet: 1. Download and install the Zoom Conferencing App through the Zoom Download Center(Mac or PC), Play Store(Android) or App Store(iOS). 2. Make an account and sign in if required. 3. Then join the meeting through the link or meeting ID sent to you by your teacher. 4. You should place the phone or tablet in a location where piano keys are visible and the student can turn to see the screen. Depending on the student, you can also place your device on the music desk beside the music. 5. To achieve optimal sound quality, please enable music mode. Also ensure that the microphone volume does not exceed the end of the bar when the piano is played loudly (see diagram below).

All RCM Conservatory Theory Examinations are now being conducted online. For levels 5 to 8, you can register at any time and you will have 12 months from the date of registration to complete the exam. The exams will consist of 8 tests and 1 final exam. All must be completed in order to pass.
For history and analysis (Level 9 to ARCT), exams can be purchased online at any time and be completed in one session whenever a student is ready. Harmony exams are being conducted at the pre-determined theory dates throughout the year as they require proctoring.
All practical examinations are being conducted online year-round. I suggest that students wait until they are close to being ready before registering for their exam.
